Step 1: Complete Application Form
Prospective members must fill in the official Membership Application Form with accurate personal or group details.
The completed form should be submitted to the SACCO office or an authorized officer.
Step 2: Pay Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of KES 500 is payable upon application.
Step 3: Purchase Share Capital
Each member must purchase at least one (1) share valued at KES 2,000.
Members may purchase additional shares in accordance with SACCO policy.
Share capital represents ownership in the SACCO and strengthens the institution.
Step 4: Begin Monthly Savings
Members are required to contribute a minimum monthly saving of KES 300.
Savings must be maintained consistently to remain active and eligible for loans and other services.
Step 5: Provide Next of Kin Details
Applicants must submit next of kin information including:
- Full Name
- Relationship
- Contact Details
- Allocation percentage of benefits
This ensures proper protection of member interests.
Step 6: Membership Review & Approval
All applications are reviewed by the SACCO management committee.
Upon approval, the applicant receives confirmation and account activation details.
Step 7: Member Commitment
By joining ROTCO SACCO, members agree to:
- Abide by SACCO bylaws and policies
- Maintain required savings contributions
- Participate responsibly in cooperative activities
- Uphold the values of integrity, fairness, goodwill, and mutual benefit
